Stuart has spent the last 15 careers within Human Resources. Initially he worked as a HR Administrator for a university before moving to an NHS Trust where he gained his experience as an advisor, working with line management to help them deal with staffing issues in the workplace.
His success in this role enabled him to be promoted to HR Manager in the same Trust, with responsibility for the management and maintenance for the in-house HR Management Information System.
His time in this role provided him with a detailed understanding of the machinations of a complex organisation like the NHS and the difficulties presented to management when faced with a difficult situation, especially at a middle manager level and above.
His experiences in HR were influenced by a five year period contracting in various different types of contracts and further understanding of the relationships HR can have within a business, whether it be a small business or a large one.
Stuart currently works in the SME sector, providing outsourced HR solutions to businesses that have no need for a full time person. He uses his experience to assist his clients adopt best practice HR and advises how best to manage the staff to make them more efficient and productive.
Stuart has a variety of different types of clients, ranging from a welfare to work business, estate agent, cleaning company, computer programmer, care provider to name just a few.
